San Pedro Trenchless Sewer Repair Services

Skilled Professionals for Your Plumbing Needs

Much of your plumbing system, including your main lines and sewer lines, is underground. Often, when people hear they need repairs to underground pipes, they picture mounds of dirt everywhere and long trenches dug into lawns. In other words, they see a lot of unsightly damage that’s going to add to the cost of the repairs. One of the latest repair methods, trenchless plumbing repair, requires minimal or no digging to expose water and sewer pipes to fix them. Drain Force Plumbing offers a wide range of trenchless plumbing repair solutions in San Pedro, CA, and surrounding cities. To schedule an appointment, call us at (310) 363-8955.

Key Advantages of Trenchless Plumbing

Whether you have a leak or other damage in an underground water or sewer line, trenchless plumbing repairs offer distinct advantages over traditional trenching. A distinct advantage is the cost. Trenchless plumbing costs about half as much as traditional repairs because it doesn’t require us to dig long trenches from your home to the main connections in the street. Traditional repairs may require us to dig through the street or other city property, which only increases the cost. Other than small access points, a very little digging is involved in trenchless plumbing repairs. So, you’ll also save on repairs to the yard and landscaping.

Trenchless plumbing is especially advantageous when it comes to slab leak repair. Since it requires no tunneling under the foundation or cutting through the slab to make the repair, the costs will be lowered. Plus, there is little to no disruption to home life or business operations. Nothing has to be moved around and the property doesn’t have to be vacated while repairs are being made. If you have water or sewer line leaks and want professionals for trenchless plumbing repair, give our team a call at (310) 363-8955.

Benefits of Trenchless Plumbing Repair

Trenchless plumbing repair offers several benefits compared to traditional methods:

  • Minimal Disruption: Unlike traditional methods that require digging up large sections of your yard or flooring, trenchless repair involves only small access points. This means less mess and disruption to your landscaping, driveways, or floors.
  • Reduced Labor Costs: Since trenchless methods require less digging, the labor involved is often less intensive, which can result in lower costs for you.
  • Quicker Installation: Trenchless repairs can often be completed more quickly than traditional methods, reducing the time you need to deal with plumbing issues.
  • Preserves Landscaping: Because there’s less digging involved, your yard, garden, and landscaping are less likely to be damaged. This is particularly beneficial if you have recently invested in landscaping.
  • Less Cleanup: With less excavation, there's less debris and cleanup required, which makes the process cleaner and more efficient.
  • Longer-Lasting Results: Trenchless methods often involve the use of modern materials and techniques that can provide durable, long-lasting results.
  • Reduced Risk of Future Issues: Some trenchless methods, like pipe relining, can create a new, smooth surface inside your existing pipes, which can help prevent future clogs and other plumbing issues.
  • Less Impact on Daily Life: Since the work is less invasive, you’re less likely to experience disruptions to your daily routine during the repair process.

Courteous. Friendly. Efficient.

Settle For Nothing Less Than the Drain Force Five-Star Experience
  • We highly recommend Drain Force plumbing. Juan and his team came in to fix a mess that another local company created when we hired them to fix our sewer line. He had a solution and bid the same day he did the camera inspection of the line.

Types of Repairs

Trenchless plumbing involves one of two types of repairs, either pipe lining or pipe bursting. With pipe lining, once the leak or damage is detected, a flexible tube coated with resin is either blown or pulled into the damaged pipe. The tube is then inflated, and the resin hardens. The resin is used to basically create a pipe within a pipe. It’s one that’s jointless and corrosion-resistant. While the pipe lining reduces the diameter of the pipe, it doesn’t affect the removal of waste from your home. Normally only one access hole is dug with pipe lining. With the pipe bursting process, a new pipe is dragged through the old pipe, bursting it apart, and the new pipe is installed in its place. Usually, two access holes are required.

Before we provide any trenchless plumbing repair, we offer free camera inspections. We send cameras attached to flexible lines through the plumbing system. These cameras capture the location of leaks or cracks or other damage to the pipes below ground. Using the cameras also helps us determine the best course of action for the repair. We inform our customers of their repair options, so they can make the best decisions to suit their needs.
